P1Wired Photography Studio Management had a new release today for our photographers. Here is a list of the new features:
1. Activity and Interest tabs have been added to the Customer file.
2. A Payment button has been added to the Order screen so that you can click directly through from Oder to Payment.
3. Emails now include the ability to attach files.
4. Export data to a CSV file.
5. A button was added so that deleting sample data can be triggered by the user when appropriate.
6. P1Wired now handles credit card swiping.
7. Embedded “How-to” Videos in the application.
8. Moved the Event locations and vendors to the Event form.
9. Created a Contact Us form – http://studiomanagement.com/”YourDomain“/ContactUs.html.
This will enter a Prospect’s data directly to your Customer/Prospect list.
10. Trial version of Client Access. This can be accessed using the Client Access link on the Customer Add/Edit Aditional Page. This generates a link that can be provided to your clients so that they can review proposals, accept them, sign a contract and make a payment. The “How-To” video is on its way.
11. New Follow Up window off of Additional Features. This will display any emails or communications that need to be addressed.
The developers are a day early with their new release of P1Wired Photography Studio Management. A Client Access feature has been added along with refinements to Workflow and other features. We have also embedded video tutorials in the software so that you don’t need to “go anywhere” when looking for more info on a feature. Thank you for all the feedback, especially since WPPI 2010, and we are scheduled for our next New Release in June.

In the April 1st release (a week from today), P1Wired Photography Studio Management will include over 25 videos demonstrating various features. What is really great about the videos (away from the helpful content) is that they are right in the studio management application.
No need to go to another page, website or forum — click on the “V” icon in the top right hand portion of the application and up pops a menu of videos (in the screen shot below, a partial menu of videos is listed on the left hand side of the screen shot). Select the video that matches off with the feature you are looking to review and take a 2 minute tour with a P1Wired expert.
P1Wired developers have been busy since WPPI 2010 and will have a new release April 1st of P1Wired Photography Studio Management. We had new features “in the works” before the show and the feedback from WPPI helped prioritize development.

What’s New:
1. P1Wired wants you to own your data. You can export your data to a CSV file with a click of a button.
2. “How-To” videos embedded in P1Wired. You can open a video right in the program to review the feature you are looking to use — there is no need to go somewhere else in the program or on a website to review. This is a big time saver and allows you to quickly review the task at hand.
3. Client Access is now LIVE. This new feature allows a prospect or client to generate a Proposal, e-sign a Contract, make a Payment and auto-generate a confirmation E-Mail.
4. You can now add attachments to e-mails.
5. There are Interest and Activity tabs in the client page. You can now mark a prospect or client to an Interest or Activity which will allow you to refine your marketing with MailChimp.
These new features were developed with “Simple and Easy” as a primary goal. This is important constant as we develop a studio management software for photographers that adds value to your daily work flow. Please keep the comments and feedback coming.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and spent time going through our new photography studio management software for professional photographers. Although we didn’t have much time to get the word out about our new product (we were busy putting the final development touches on P1Wired), we received a lot of positive feedback and better yet — SIGN UPS.
We are rolling out the next phase . . . FAN us on Facebook as we release the new version of P1Wired at the end of this month. Just 9 days from now . . .
