The Calendar feature allows you to record your schedule, and view it by day, week or month. This information is then sent to other areas of P1Wired so that there is no need for double entry.

P1Wired Photography Studio Management allows you to setup as many calendars as you need.

When entering an appointment in P1Wired, you can set the start and end times for the appointment along with an appointment type. The Calendar feature can also be set up with color coding which will make it an easy visual distinction between appointments, resources and locations.

The P1Wired Calendar customer information can also be added by selecting from the customer list or by adding a new appointment. You can also mark the appointment as canceled or as a no show. If you like, the calendars are printable and can be placed in your photography bag as you head off to an event.

P1Wired Calendar can be synced with your Google calendar allowing you to quickly and accurately update between the two of them.

Simply select a day and time – start by selecting a time, then type a description of your appointment or event, then double-click the event to further edit the time and appointment type.

In SETUP, select “Calendar” to assign multiple Appointment Types, color codes and in fact, multiple calendars.

The Contact feature is a great way to keep all of your important contact information away from your client database.  You can manage your vendor, business contacts and other relationships with the Contact feature and look to leverage those relationships to enhance your flow of business.

P1Wired Photography Studio Management wanted a division between Client and Contact so that there would be little chance of confusion around marketing programs, promotions and emails between the two different sets of clients.

The cornerstone of any business is the accounting department. Keeping tabs on revenues and expenses is not only important to you, but it is also important to those who collect taxes from you.

In P1Wired Photography Studio Management, the Accounting feature gives you the opportunity to set up your bank account information and payee information. It comes with a Chart of Accounts with predefined Expense/Income Accounts. You can modify this list or just add your own. The Chart of Accounts will allow you to track all your financial accounts and then turn around and produce reports.

It also allows you to record your Deposits, just as you would when you go to balance your checkbook.

In Setup and under Accounting, click on the Chart of Accounts to get a full preview of the accounts available to you in P1Wired.

The Checkbook is just like your personal checkbook or Quicken. You can enter all you checks and deposits for any Bank Account you have setup for your business. When entering a check, all you add is the Date, Chart of Accounts for the bill or invoice. If it is your lab invoice, you would select Lab Expense. Go ahead and enter the invoice number and the amount and the invoice is added to your Checkbook.

Deposits are even simpler in P1Wired. When you enter a payment for an invoice, P1Wired takes care of the accounting. In the Checkbook, when you select “add” deposit, all of your payments will be displayed for you. You can then enter the deposit date and note the payments that are included in the bank deposit and save. The deposit is entered into your Checkbook — no need to enter any customer payment amounts because they are already there.

For a selected period, the Checkbook window will now display your beginning balance, any checks or deposits and the bank account ending balance. There is no double entry needed and reports are at your fingertips — Checkbook, Account Transaction Detail and P/L Statement.

When you setup your studio in P1Wired, you can create Categories and Subcategories to classify your orders. This setup will assist you with monitoring your sales data.

P1Wired Accounting is Cash Based accounting which means that every time you enter a customer payment for an order, P1Wired will record the sales income, tax and proceeds to be deposited into a bank account.

We set up P1Wired Accounting to be simple and easy to use while providing you the strong financial foundation to better manage your business. So with a little work upfront, P1Wired does the rest. At the end of the day it is important to know where your studio stands and P1Wired will provide you the tool to develop a P/L statement.

P1Wired Photography Studio Management has email capability built into the browser. You can be in a client profile and click on the email icon and send off an email while the thought is fresh in your mind. P1Wired is also integrated with Google calendar allowing you to include mobile phone notifications and the ability to invite guests to your event.  In the next P1Wired release there will be auto email generation and templates that can be modified to address your client work flow.

P1Wired integrates with Gmail. Gmail was built by Google to make emailing more intuitive, efficient and useful. P1Wired integrates with Gmail so that you can easily coordinate and manage multiple email sources.

It is easy to set up – just add your Gmail username and password to P1Wired. The emails from Gmail will automatically show up in your P1Wired email account. P1Wired will also attach the email to the client’s file when it recognizes the incoming email address.

P1Wired allows you to attach a “follow-up” date to an incoming email so that you mitigate the possibility of overlooking or forgetting an email. Once you have finished the task or to-do, you can then mark the email completed. This seamless email integration will allow you to better manage the email process for your client’s and prospects.

To access P1Wired Photography Studio Management all you need is a Mac or PC and an Internet browser.  To provide even more freedom but just as much information about your photography business you can access P1Wired through your iPhone, Outlook or Google calendar. You can now use your iPhone to download client information, appointments and orders. You can go ahead and sync your other PDAs through Outlook.  You can also manage and coordinate your P1Wired calendar with your Google calendar. This flexibility allows you to coordinate with vendors, plan events, send reminders and have additional search tool functionality.
